Yes, those 'mediocre' Germans, Swedes, Norwegians, French, Danes, Dutch....

I can see an argument for the Germans. But simply because the rest are better than your mediocre standards, does not mean they aren't mediocre compared to the standards of others.

But we're not moving up the ladder. An American college degree will still kick my degree's ass. And yes, it's a ''real'' degree.

And you think that has to do with a lack of fees?

    Define "mediocre".

Explain, with regard to culture, standard of living etc, why (to take two examples) Sweden and France might be considered "mediocre" and, if in comparison, to where. Sources for any statistics and facts you might throw in (wiki, encylopediae, CIA factbook and mainstream news sources are good enough for me).

I was unaware the Washington Post was "far left".

In addition, are you saying that the events mentioned therein are untrue?

Of course you're unaware, because you are left yourselves. And because of that, you see left as center. All of your political viewpoints have been poisoned from the fact you live and are the product of a leftist regime. Here's a Hans Slomp diagram(Slomp is from Holland, btw - I thought I would post a chart by someone outside of America for you):
    European-political-spectrum.png

The Washington Post tends to editorialize and support and endorse social democratic values more often than Fox news, and the reverse is true as well; Fox news tends to report with an eye towards conservatism, more to the right. And, trust me, I have seen a lot of flat-out fascist statements and flat out socialist from both networks. I also know people whom fall under both political agendas in the States. Personally, I feel that if if BOTH extremists lived in Germany for a while, they both might be cured. ;)

ALL news is produced by humans, directed by humans, and interpreted by humans. There will always be a bias regardless of whom does the reporting, whether intentional or not, left or right, or centrist when it comes to politics, assuming it isn't already tailored to their audience(as many news agencies are in the States). It is up to the viewer to discern how relevant and proper the information is. Good luck with that.

I have spent a lot of time in Europe and America. I WANTED Europe to be a nice socialist Utopia, but it just isn't, and no one here can, nor wants to argue it is.

When do you think the next tea parties will be held in Ireland?

    A waffling non-answer.

So you refute an argument nobody in fact made, in order to say that one thing is 'better' than another.....Hmmmm.

You throw out terms yet give no sign of understanding their meaning. Why are you denigrating countries without being able to explain yourself?

....in the context you're using it in. Refer to France and Sweden specifically, if that makes it easier.

What do ye think of these tea parties?
Seems like they are attacking Obama despite him reducing their taxes. Some good vids on youtube of the nuts attending them. Tiny crowds as well.

Love the name of it though teabagging, lead by Dick Army. lol

The problem is he is vastly increasing spending ,printing money increase in Federal debt.
