Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on New DVD Player

    Hi all

    I have a Sony DAV 990 (I think) DVD/Surround sound system connected to a Pana TX32PD50. Basically the dvd player is on the blink and I want to replace it. I want to buy a Blu-Ray player... something decent but not mental money. At the moment I dont have a HD ready TV but will eventually so I want whatever I buy to be future proof. Is it possible to play a normal DVD on a BR system...??? Will it play on my current setup...? I was actually tempted by the PS3 as I used to be an avid gamer and wouldn't mind getting back into it.

    Any advice would be appreciated...!

    PS3 is the way to go, you can play normal DVDs on it.
