    Whats the fcuking point?

    If i can just spell the bad motherfcuking words slightly different it still reads the same or i can just use a number/symbol in the word it resembles the same sh1t or if I'm too lazy to find a creative way to change the word I can add a cun.t of a full stop?

    Seriously though, if there's a swear filter, and even semi sentient monkeys like me can evade it, that raises one of two questions:

    1. Why bother with the bloody thing?

    2. If it is to be retained, is cursing in general to be banned?

    (Yes, I know they do it on the TV forum, but I'm talking something more effectual, like a sitewide ban or something-my own personal view is that people should be allowed to let their skills of expression stand, whatever language they use, coherent posting and people who throw the odd fuck into the equation now and then are not mutually exclusive).

    Was there a sudden crack down in people evading the swear filter? Just out of curiosity like?

    I've seen another thread or two recently where cuss's were edited out, hence asking, but it'd make more sense if it was added in to the charter, just so folk know not to do it anymore.

    Why is it such an issue? Jebus just either don't curse or put up with the filter. Does it really matter? thing is *'s do the same thing as the curse word, shows people you're cursing. Isn't that what you want? End of story, I really wish people would get over it.

    I knew there was a reason I was hanging around in AH a bit more...

    But aye, if it's going to be enforced, put it in the charter, otherwise there's no "I told you so" - AFAIK, it's written in the Pets & Animal forum charter, and someone had a problem with getting an infraction for swearing recently, no argument with it being in the charter though :)
