Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

May Bank Holiday at Dublin Airport

More than 255,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport over the course of the May Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 1st to Monday 4th May.

More than 1,900 flights will arrive and depart during this time including 100 charters as the summer holiday season begins in earnest.

The Dublin Airport Authority has the following advice for passengers travelling through Dublin Airport this holiday weekend:
    • Passengers should plan to arrive at their check-in desk at least 90 minutes before their flight departure time.

    • Passengers who check in on-line should plan to arrive in the terminal at least 90 minutes before their flight departure time.

    • The Departures Road is a set-down area only. Unattended cars will be towed away without delay. Customers picking up passengers are urged to do so in the short-term car park where a special rate of €1.50 applies for under 30 minutes.

    • Passengers are reminded that they must comply with the EU Aviation Security regulations concerning liquids. In this regard passengers are advised to check the details of these regulations on www.dublinairport.com BEFORE setting out on their journey to the Airport.

    • Once again passengers are reminded to remove all sharp objects from hand luggage. These objects should be packed into checked in luggage. In addition, all laptop computers must be removed from their outer casing for security screening.

Dublin Airport will have Customer Care teams on duty this bank holiday weekend. Dressed in bright pink polo shirts, they are there to assist passengers through the terminal building.

    Ends
    30th April, 2009
