Any of ye used this software? Says you can resize mini tables on ipoker. Seems like it could be very useful. How well does it work with HM?

I'm using it with the last few months, very good, no problems with HM as it actually gives more space for stats by removing the clutter of the normal view(i.e chat box is removed). makes it alot easier to multitable also as you can set hotkeys to fold, call etc. I have it set up so When I right click I fold and the extra mouse button I have is for call or check.

sweet...sounds perfect. I'll download it later and give it a go.

Ouuu! Think I'll be playing with this for the day.

ya, very handy software. My big problem with the mini tables is not having enough space for all the stats I want. This should help a lot.

In you're example you're making the tables view vertically longer. I don't really want to do that though.... I have 3 tables per row on my monitor and have no extra space. I do have space width wise though. Is it possible to widen the table view horizontally and display the stats in columns either side?

In the picture I put up I have the tables set to 560x500 in size, theres also 426x338,518X400 and 800x600. I've only ever used the same one because it gets ten tables on 2 screens nicely for me, so i'm not sure which one would suit ya best. I prefer the stats under the players names myself as I thinks its a bit more straight forward for multitabling( less chance of looking at the wrong stat at a glance )

Wow i really like that setup, without the chat and other stuff makes it alot cleaner looking.

    Beat: Vodafone 3G Broadband
Variance: Top Set & KK OTB facing a 3bet yet to act!

    Vodafone is definitly a beat,

Check raise took down the JJ hand and my 4bet ended the KK hand unforunately.

Got a nice 6 table set up at 1600/1200 res with no overlay using the trial version of this software. Plenty of room for HU stats.

lol that some smart guy with no access to the ipoker codebase can do in his spare time what all the monkeys at ipoker can't do in 2 years.

I bought this tonight and it's so sweet.

I made my own layout so that I can fit 12 tables in on a 1920x1200 resolution monitor (each table is 480x400) and have my usual hud setup of 3 on the left and 3 on the right.

    Very handy

So after much messing around. I think I achieved the ultimate setup for my monitor

Code for it is here for anyone who wants it

I'd love to be able to use this on my baby netbook, but it's setting of alarms on the antivirus software (avira).

    Anyone else having problems?

What kind of monitor are you using cooker?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,276 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

This is the best thing ever, perfect size tables, right click auto fold, double click to auto reload, all thats missing is preferred seating. This makes ipoker 100 times better.

Hmmm..... How big are the tables in that screenshot compared to the normal miniview? My eyesight isn't the best and I'm torn between upgrading to a better monitor or addng second 20" with 1680X1050 and going for a dual monitor setup with 6 tables on each.

I don't know the exact resolution of normal miniview but I couldn't fit 4 rows of tables but I could easily fit 3 columns so the width is smaller but the height is bigger in the screenshot I have above. My eyes suck as well. Personally I prefer everything on 1 screen so if I was you I just invest in a bigger monitor. They are getting pretty cheap now.
Although 1 issue with this setup is the active window from HM becomes more awkward to use when playing all 12 tables.

I've actually stuck with PokerTracker. I don't really see any need to switch once you modify the PT pop-up window to suit. At least I dont think there's a reason to go with HM. If there's one I've missed someone tell me.

I think can get your monitor in the North Derry for less than £200. PC World sell Dell monitors now.

In general, I can't think of a reason to change from familiar to unfamiliar software. If it aint broke etc etc.

That said, HM, was better at holdem cash when it came out, recently got better at tourneys and sng's and is still being improved, and as of yesterday does plo and plo8 too.

Give them a bit longer for multi currency and a few more user gripes that they do listen to (and a week day or two for your head to adjust) and you'll wish you switched long ago.

    imo

The annoying thing is I can't test PT3. I got the trial way back in May but it was an absolute buggy mess then also they were just using Pahud for their hud which even then HM had blown away. The general consensus on 2+2 seems to be that HM is better but would be good to find out for myself.

PC World in Crescent Link Shopping centre in Derry, has a decent range of CPUs and monitors you can buy seperately, big gap in prices even with Letterkenny. Was gutted when I discovered I could have saved €100 on a €650 laptop I bought recently.

Yeah I get virus warning. I'm using Avira also. I use the sharkscope hud as well and I'm getting warning virus's about that too. When I ask them they say it's just a false positive. Have to say it does make me a bit weary though of these progs.

Check the 2+2 thread for help. Most likely a Vista issue. Make sure you give minimaxmod full administrator rights.
