Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Here's a quick review of the demo.
    this game has been in production for a while now. I was really looking forward to it after the first one. After playing the Demo, I still am.
    The demo is only one level, with a ten minute time limit. The playing area is a fairly large sandbox, and this is only one small part of a sector, with four sectors in the game. It looks good, if a little on the red/orange side. But then its Mars. The vehicles kick up dust as you drive along, and handle pretty well. with a nice selection(bin trucks, pickups, off roaders, APC, humvees) to drive in.
    You're objective is to
    pick up a Walker, which is a giant, seemingly indestructable walking excavator. And deliver it to another Red Faction member in a flatbed truck. Cue chase with you blowing EDF APC's off the road.
    The main point about this game is the Geo-Mod2.0 engine, which lets you destroy practically everything. It is brilliant, and works very well. Destroy the supports on a building or tower, and it collapses on itself. I didn't see it work on the environment though, hopefully its just as good. My only gripe with it is that it may work too well. I threw a keg at a building, and a sizable chunk fell off.
    This is definatly on my to buy list.
