My internet explorer 8 will not display images, buttons or backgrounds on a lot of websites for some reason ? I have checked the tools-internet options-advanced-muiltimedia settings and images and pictures are already selected !?

Can anyone help ! preferably with an easy fix as I am not hugely technical !
