Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all!
    got this machine about 18 months ago and no i think it has crapped itself!
    Went onto the aldi website for various warranty info and guess what,the model is not listed,bummer!!!
    No contact details only a postal address for aldi which is a big bummer!
    The problem is that after about 5mins or less watching a dvd or a file from a usb stick(both of which worked flawlessly before) now the picture goes green and a very loud noise emits from the dvd!

    from what I recall, tevion are a sub brand of medion, see wiki, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medion.
    If you have a model or serial number with the letters MD in it you should be able to get support from Medion.uk, they have a freefone number in Ireland, 1 800 550 461.

    i also have the same model and it flashes green and resets. also if in setup it just jumps back out like you just switched on. anybody get good feedback from the helpline?

    My general experience of both aldi and lidl is that when something like happens and you are within the usual 3 year guarantee and still have your till receipt they usually give you a full refund no problem, or as once what happened in Lidl they swapped out a Lidl camping satellite kit for the bigger dish version they had in stock and I paid the tenner difference in price as my product was €89.99 and the replacement was €99.99, and I chose this over a full refund as I wanted the bigger dish and they kept it aside and I did not have to queue like the other lemmings at 7.30am:pac:

    Well I got another problem with this machine. because when its not listed on the TEVION web site you cant get replacement parts or help to fix it.My problem is that the when the remote breaks down you cant get a replacement.and their own universal ones dont work with this machine.So if any one can help me find a remote or a site wher to get one I would be so greatful.

    If the product is still under the 3 year warranty and you have the receipt phone 1800 882912 and they will arrange to send you a UPS envelope to post back the product free of charge. They will either repair, replace or refund. Unfortunately, they told me my Portable DVD player Model No. 6220 is no longer being stocked so they couldn't replace it and I got a cheque in the post yesterday.
