Despite being over ten years old, QuakeWorld refuses to lay down and die. A new (worldwide) league has been launched which is hoping to bring new blood into the scene and show them that QW isn't as difficult as some make it out to be. This new league goes by the name "Fusion" and will use the Clan Arena mod. Fusion will feature divisions in North America, Brazil, Australia and Europe in its first season.

Official signups have begun so make your way to the league site to register. The European division looks very strong with 22 teams signed up already. A pre-season will begin shortly in order to determine the general standard and if multiple skill divisions are needed. The league itself will go live on April 27th for all divisions. Despite the league only in the process of being set up, the admin behind it all (Claw) is looking at the bigger picture and aims to develop "Fusion" as a global league with sponsorship.
