My PSU went bang earlier on and I need to get a new one.

I have an Antec Sonata case (came with their standard Antec TruePower 380W PSU).

I have an Abit AS8 motherboard. (with a decent graphics card)

I've looked around and I'm not sure which one to get - I want to make sure it is compatible power/size wise.

what about this ? Antec Neo 550w

I built the PC 4 years ago - the last time I built anything - so I am a bit rusty when it comes to buying parts!

    thanks.

If anything that PSU is overkill. Decent but pricey if you don't need the extra power.

I'm pretty sure Komplett (and others) have the Corsair CX400 much cheaper now, and that should be more than enough with 20A on 3.3V and 5V rails :)
