Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, My 450D was stolen and I'm in need of a replacement. The 450D seems like the obvious choice to replace it but im open to other cameras. Jessops in Newry would appear to be the cheapest and nearest place (I'm in Dublin). Any recommendations on where I might pick one up a bit cheaper? Excluding jessops in London that…

Argos are doing them for e549 including the standard 18-55mm IS kit lens.

iirc the 450D uses SD cards while the 400D used CF. If you're not also replacing memory this may be a concern. There's always the 40D.

Thanks for your replies. I have considered the 40D but i think its just a little out of my price range at the moment unless its going exceptionally cheap somewhere, same for the 500D unfortunately. The thieves got my memory cards too so compatibility isn't an issue
