Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi - I'm planning on heading to Achill on the June bank holiday and I want to stay in a hostel on or close to Keel beach. The one that comes up most on google is called the Wayfarer. However when I ring the number (098 43266) it says that the number dialled is not in service. Does anyone have the number for the Wayfarer, or can anyone suggest another good hostel close to Keel?

    Cheers.

No idea why that number is not working. You can look up http://www.achilltourism.com/ and mail them and ask them maybe?

In the mean time, here's another option.

    Richview Hostel
    Keel, Achill Island, Co. Mayo
    Contact: Shay Kennedy
    Tel: 098 43462
    Email: Richviewhostel@hotmail.com
    Business open all year

Shay and Nessa are really friendly. It's less than a mile to the beach, lovely views from the house.

(ive no connection with the place, before anyone asks)
