batch of faulty 8600 gt cards?...ok to buy dell now? help

hi..i heard nvidia released thousands of 8600 m gt laptop grafic cards with overheating faults....many people are returning laptops for replacement.... would i be ok buying an xps 1530 from dell in ireland with this gpu in it? or would it be risky with dell? any advice appreciated

I'd say you'd be fine, usually these things are removed from the market once noticed. And besides if you have a warranty it'll cover it.
