Some people on Uk sites have mentioned a software patch for FreeSat Panasonics. No one knows for sure but it is thought to be related to the upcoming move of the FreeSat home transponder onto Astra 2G.

Presumably this will be rolled out to other manufacturers too- like Humax for example- or are they more agnostic about these things? Time will tell I guess.......

A poster on Digital Spy works (or worked) for Humax and said that their own receivers aren't hardcoded to a particular home transponder and will go looking if it doesn't find one in the usual spot. It's apparently in the Freesat spec but I'd say that it wasn't implemented across the board.

Ok, got an on-screen message via satellite for an update on the LZD81 today. It's for version 2.608. I'm going to do some research before I install and will check back...

I just went onto that Panasonic website and those models listed are from 2010 onwards. It doesn't list the PZ and LZD TVs?! I think the ones we have are the previous year's.

I have gone to do the 'over-air' update for the system but it is not available! It doesn't show up on http://www.dtg.org.uk/work/download_schedule.php

In such a case only Litzinger the author of setedit can help.
Setedit destroy the logical numbering after a change. This is maybe the problem.
It would be a good idea to create a svl_file only with the radio channels and send the file to Litzinger and point out the problem.

    Anyone done this?

I'm in Cork (so using Mullaghanish /Spur hill I think) haven't been able to tune into Rte1, or a few of the extra added Saorview channels as my Lzd 81s can't do Saorview rescans.

Anyone got a Hotel.pwd file that would work with these txs???

    Thanks
