Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I never realised the savings that can be made!

Anyway, if I book a ticket for use in a couple of week's time, can I go to the machine tomorrow to collect my ticket or do I have to wait until the day of departure?

Afraid I can't help you there - I am unable to use Irish Rail's user unfriendly website and I wouldn't mind betting that your local depotman/station master may be able to offer you even cheaper fares than those available online. My local agent recently sold me a monthly return ticket for €27.50 while the Automatic ticket vending machine wanted €81.50 (!) for the same ticket - God only knows what the online fare would have been. :D

sitstill, yes, you can collect from the machine any day, or if you book more than 5 days in advance, you can choose to have it posted to you.

He said online, not at a vending machine.
