    I'm no engineer, but I understand the gist of a lot of it. Anyone know what the bit about "infinite precision" is about though? That bit has completely mystified me...

    It means that the design can be assumend to be 100% accurate to the lowest measurable figure and that no minor manufacturing dfference will make a measurable difference to the effect the part has on the car.
