Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Unblocking Hotpoint washing machine filter

Hi all, hoping for some help, my hotpoint washing machine is leaking during cycle, this has happened a good while ago and had to get engineer out, turns out the filter was blocked, could not see at the time exactly how he removed it as machine only came out from the wall a wee bit. We washed a really fluffy blanket which I'm sure has blocked the filter again however I cannot get at the filter. I have removed the cover at the back and I think the filter is between a black hose coming from the drum and a white "drain hose?". there is a cylinderical container between them and I think this is where the filter is. Unfortunatley there are two huge tie wrap type yokes on each hose and can't see how to get them off without cutting them? Has anyone any tips on how to get at filter without causing more damage? All advice appreciated

I have not had a good experience with hotpoint appliences but one thing I know is how to get advice. Google the model no and you get lots of info. If this does not work vist the hotpoint site put in the model number and you will get loads of info
