eircom friends package new prices 20-4-09?

anyone know why eircom are not selling their advertised packages per their website from today? I rang up and was told that they are not allowed sell them until further notice due to circumstances beyond their control?

Because ComReg told them not to.

I don't blame comreg, its anti-competitive for Eircom to sell these packages which include free calls to Meteor (which they also own),

Doesn't hold well for any of the other telephony providers in Ireland who don't also own a mobile operater

Finally comreg have done something good
