    There is this one personal trainer who is really beginning to annoy me, he never brings a towel, doesnt put back his weights, and insists on grunting and moaning really loudly as he bicep curls in front of the mirror, meaning i cant put back my weighs or get diff ones:mad:,

    Those are some amounts of weight you are lifting. I'm just starting out so I think it will be about a 40kg deadlift for me, max!

    PS: I notice you do your deadlifts in front of a door. I hope no plonker barges in and knocks you over :D

    :D:D hasnt happen so far,
    i do them at the door pretty much so i take up the least amount of room as possible. Deads are still the one lift which scares me, im always very nervous when i try for heavier weights

    just got joe defrancos new ebook, had a quick read through it seems interesting, have never really followed a set programme before.think i will go through it, take a few excercises from it to add into what i normally do, and then start it in a week or two,

    You're very good at keeping your lower back arched at a weight quite close to your 1rm, its quite impressive, you might want to watch the lock out though and try to not hyperextend so much, it could cause trouble in the future.

    Thanks brian and i Def see what you mean, i was happy to get 5 with 160 so hadnt planned on the 180. The ground in the shed is seriously uneven, i kinda stumbled back while doing the 140kg x 3. Will be back in the college gym on sunday, might have a go at a bench PB, maybe 115kg,

    Ya liam it was sooooooooooooooooooo cold, i had a hoodie that i kept popping on and off, but it had to be done
