Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Seriously, if you aren't listening to the spanish fella, you're missing out. He's singing a song about carrick scoring and everything. To the tune of I can't get no satisfaction! Brilliant.

    LMFAO
    2-0 typical. Carrick

What the hell is with the singing on rojadirecta?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

    Carrick! 2-0!

    What a ball from Scholes!!!

    Shhh the doubters ;)

Im on Rojadirecta, and the Spanish commentator is singing an improv version of I Cant Get No Satisfaction with Manchester United as the lyrics, outrageous.

Great ball from scholes. 2-0 yess!

    Thank fluck for that.

Lovely finish by Carrick, what Utd have been lacking for a lot of the game.

2-0, that should be it for Utd. Should really have been more, and the win sealed earlier. Patchy performance, but I'm sure they'll be happy with the three points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,139 ✭✭✭flanzer

Actually the Spanish commentary is hillarious! The commentator started singing Rolling Stones, "I can't get no satisfaction"!!! And added in Michael Carrick's name here and there....fcuk Jimmy Magee, this guy is a ledge!

    "Goal Te Carrick,
    Man United"......

I really wanna hear that song again.

Ive the double on Man U and Barca to win with a -1 handicap. So far so good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

The lyrics i caught from the now infamous Satisfaction song were:

"Man-chester Uneeted, campeon campeon Careek, ella, gol del Man-a-chestar"

Will be ringing around the Stretford End in no time.

+1. I don't know if I've ever had this much fun listening to a match.

This man doesn't like silences :D Very entertaining though, and he would probably work for half George hamilton's pay!

Ronaldo's had a few chances in the last few minutes to boost the goal difference - pity he couldn't take one...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

ffs ill have "I Cant Get No Satisfaction" in my head all week.

I know im not the only one sitting here humming "Dum dum, da da dum dadadum, dum dum." lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,777 ✭✭✭✭keane2097

    All over, 2-0.

    Good performance, good result.

    Full-time: Manchester United 2 Portsmouth 0

Utd deserved the win, but it really should've been more comprehensive. Giggs had a couple of great chances, and Rooney also could've easily gotten on the scoresheet. There was a strange lack of urgency with Utd for a lot of the game, but they get the three points.

    Job done. Happy enough.

Well, a poor game but United back where they belong.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

That is a ****ing huge huge huge victory for United today. It's now a two horse race only, and United are 3 points ahead of Liverpool, with a game in hand. With 6 games left to play.

    I'm ****ing ecstatic

I'm not sure what you're humming but I'm humming 'I can't get no satisfaction' alright :D

Great result. Pretty good performance. Pity about not getting more goals but hopefully we won't need that.

    OOOhhh what a big win!

****ing get in! Over the moon with that performance, didnt get out of 3rd gear but got the job done.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,824 ✭✭✭ShooterSF

Best performance from United in a while. Fluid passing, one-twos and through-balls. Bit by bit they are restoring their game only one area left now.

Also I'd love to see a graphic of the amount of ground covered be Rooney tonight. Striker, Left Wing, Right wing, Left full, Right full the guy is a machine.

Massive win for United tonight. Hopefully we can keep this up for the rest of the season.
