Recommend an external soundcard for laptop/htpc?

    I was going to build a HTPC but decided that my ole laptop bundled with a new harddrive and an external 5.1 soundcard would do just as nicely (laptop has an hdmi output) seen as I don't care much for the telly or "fancy" interfaces (only usable ones like explorer and mediamonkey for music).

    Any recommendations for a decent soundcard?

    I'll be connecting it to one of these, if it makes any difference
