Started a course with the Irish Canoe Union last night on the Liffey at the strawberry beds.

The ICU do a good courses, another place to look for beginers courses is Wild Water Kayak Club (www.WWKC.net), also on the strawberry beds.

I'd always recomend joining a club as theres a great social side to them.

At the moment the ICU are running evening courses with the plan to run more. It's a 5 week course. 1 night for 2 hours for 5 weeks. Taught by ICU instructors with the hope to qualify at level 2 proficiencey standard. I am teaching at one this evening. Any more questions just ask.
