dog constantly cries

ever since we got this dog (follwed my dad home in september). it constantly cries when hes left on his own or when a door is closed on him, well not on him but ya know what I mean. he cant be left in the back as he cries for hours on end. is there anything that can stop him crying all the time?

Hi, that sounds like separation anxiety (SA) to me.

SA is quite common in dogs who have been abandoned at some stage or some dogs simply have it for no apparent reason.

There is plenty of information available if you google the "Separation Anxiety Dogs".
