I want a media player that will..........

1. Have FM radio (is DAB possible with these things now?) built in.

2. Have excellent battery life.

3. Be extremely light - it's for use only in the gym.

4. Have a socket that permits the use of light headphones as opposed to the earphones that they come supplied with. In the gym earphones invariably fall out and are pain to use.

Finally, can someone recommend quality headphones that I can buy separately?

i'd place the sony quite a bit above the creative, which in all honesty isn't as reliable.

Are the headphones OK? I note in your Amazon link above that Creative earphones are recommended. Any thoughts? To be honest, I'd prefer proper headphones that I know will never fall out/off.

I've just taken delivery of the 4gb version of this player, thanks for the link man, the sound out of this piece of kit is extremely good on the mp3 playback, and on the radio.

For the price I paid (about €35) it is well worth it.
