Hiya For about a week now BF2 refuses to load. On start-up, get a black screen, then I can hear the disc spin down in the DVD player and I have to CTL+ALT+DLT to get out. Never had this issue before. Hiya

For about a week now BF2 refuses to load. On start-up, get a black screen, then I can hear the disc spin down in the DVD player and I have to CTL+ALT+DLT to get out. Never had this issue before. Nothings changed hardware or software wise, so doing an uninstall / reinstall tonight, plus patches. Updating Active/Direct X too. Have googled this, but can't see a recent problem/fix.

Any ideas?
