    Not exactly sure how to classify this so I've just put it in the general music section.

    Just heard this song on a shampoo ad on TV:

    Can anyone suggest to me who to look for that composes music in a similar vein?

    Hi,

    Are you trying to figure out who wrote that piece of music?; or are you actually looking for someone else who composes similar music? The composer of that is Mark Revell, as is stated on the page.

    I can't really think of anyone else who composes music of that kind... ...

    Other than that, it sounds pretty new age compositiony, so I'd say looking up new age music on Wikipedia would be a good start.

    Ludovico Einaudi is probably my favourite modern composer.

    Ah that's lovely!

    Try going on Last.fm and searching for soundtrack composers. You'll be surprised what you can find, plus they'll generally link to other composers and you can flesh it out a bit.

    Lol no, just love ambient kinda stuff like this and it's not very easy to find.

    Sigur Rós are my favourite band if it helps people suggest stuff, but I'm not looking for Múm or anything, the kinda stuff that's been posted already is smashing...
