    Please help...
    I'm so stupid about phones:D

bought a new Sony SKype phone for Three Network
Had my old number transferred from my 02 sony T303
but forgot to get my contacts off it first.

Now the old phone won't work "Sim not recognised"...
Tech support suggested I put the new card into the old phone and save contacts to the new card., No good cos the new SIM is not recognised either.

Am I lost - is there anything I can do?

    Appreciate any help.

    Thanks
    Eileen

THanks Capn Morgan - I'll try that.
The Skype phone is Sony Ericsson W595.

Or...Get a blank sim card from an O2 store (FREE) and stick it into the Sony t303 and you will be able to access the contacts but will have to input them manually. Longer version to Captain's but just an alternative and may prove easier for you.

PS if you have a kid and a lot of numbers, 5euro does the trick!

are your contacts on your old (now deactivated) sim? if so bring your new and old sim into a phone shop, a lot of them have sim copiers (a lot of 3 stores do) and they'll copy them over for you. takes less than a minute!

    120 Mins
Oh now that's the solution I was after.
Don't care if it costs a few bob - sounds like just what I need.

Thanks everyone - really appreciate the responses!

put any o2 sim in the phone (active or inactive) (borrow one) use myphonexplorer

    http://www.fjsoft.at/en/

or the SE suite to get the contacts.

Anyone with an SE phone should be using these to back their contacts anyhow.
