Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i think that's a given, we're stinkin' so far this season

the drogs game last week was so hard to watch; and we won, just about, keeping the ball in the corner for the last few minutes, at home. . .against drogheda!

Bohs should be way too physically strong for them!
Clean sheets are almost a given:rolleyes:
    1-0 2-0 3-0 not bad bets imo!????????

da Rovas are best price 6/4 to beat the droogies
    "with an irish bookie"

was hoping one of the english ones would be giving the usual 6/1 cause drogs were in europe last season and were from the west etc ;)

Any div 1 expert who spots a rick in the prices speak up :)

2004 I think at home. Having said that we didn't beat Drogheda. We should win though.

Havent lost to rovers in a long long time, and before that defeat it was even longer. So i suppose if they win it be years before they win again :pac:

Will take a draw tbh,our only hope is if Maguire plays :D

Nonsense, weve moved from living in the past to living in the future. Our impending world domination is now inevitable.

Well SectionF i got the Bohs result right:rolleyes:

    Cork won by one :p

and I fancied Dundalk to get something in Derry (i think they will do well on the road)
The media have been talking about how they should have an advantage on their plastic pitch:confused: as if it was last years squad
The media have not mentioned that the majority of their squad have only played on the plastic pitch for the last couple of months and its as alien to them as the rest of the teams
OVERALL i think Sligo Rovers B will be ok this season;)

    Drogies0-0 Rovers
Delighted seeing as we had 2 sent off:D

wish id had that bet on bohs:mad: (went to see a 10 piece french ska band instead:D)

    Must start betting on LOI!!!!

Dropped into Shels v Athlone tonight. Athlone capitulated at the back for 15 minutes. The red card evened things up for a neutral, but the amount of wasted frees and corners..

And most importantly the Green + White Hooped U-8s (? Knocklyon?) gained a hard earned draw at halftime  :pac:

You did. I underestimated your powers, and shall try to be more positive in future. A bit too easy, really. Most of the second half, Bray were defending a two-goal deficit.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry about the Drogs. We're playing some delightful football this season - great passing, but nobody applying the finishing touch and actually putting the ball in the net. Relegation is looking likely - but it's still much better than having to watch the negative crap Doolin had the team playing last season.

BTW last night was the worst refereeing display I've ever seen in the LoI - and that's saying something. The only redeeming feature was that he was consistently bad for both sides.

Best we've played this season imo, the changes at half time were very good for us. Heh, just at the end of the first half Bisto took his eye off the ball to complain to the ref, and I roared at him from Section E to keep his eye on the game. I thought he was going to come up the stand after me, even when he was walking off at half time he kept turning to find me. :D

funny moment in that game when a young lad in the hoops just pushed a yellow lad to the ground.

Rubbish tbh Des. We destroyed Dundalk. That was 90 minutes of domination. We were good for 20 minutes last night.

And dfx, I seen you on the way out last night. You were too far ahead of me so I didn't give you a shout.

Eight from nine for The Twigg now.

Two great goals, a real poacher goal for the first and the second was a great move. Otherwise even game with a few strikes against the woodwork

He's flying isn't he? Would have had another hat-trick if that shot hadn't have hit the crossbar. Baker also seems reborn this season. I can even overlook those boots now. :)

Haha, that is funny. Mathews' style, while negative in general, is amde look like champagne stuff by the "style" that Doolin has us playing and obviously Drogs in the past. Doolin seems to have 1-0s down to a tee. Though it is handy if you want to catch up on some sleep before having a few pints.

    Its awful to watch alright.

Recently seen The Damned United. Clough talks about Leeds being "bad champions". They weren't loved.

Same could be said about Doolin's Drogheda and by the looks of it he will do the same with City. Don't see Barca settling for 1-0 wins.

You should get Johnny McDonnell in and play pretty all night in front of defences like Pat's (Fahey excluded) last year.
