Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

you think you would've got 3 if the first one hadn't been gifted? We'll never know but that was a massive turning point more than just a goal. The psychological boost/blow must have been massive

Make that 4 in 13mins brother

    Pool fan are we ?

Came here for a stream. Saw we were 0-2 with 5 mins of first half left.
    All I can say is..

    LMFAO

Same as the ref earlier then?

Liverpool got a goal from a dodgy ref decision, and so have United.

    Build a bridge tbh

Webb is being run by the games atmosphere, he is not in control.

And please dont hand out "Gnomic" advice to me:)

my god... This is absolutely gutting

why did spurs stop giving the ball to modric and lennon, they were fleecing the full backs in the first half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 535 ✭✭✭jellybaby21

All that stemmed form the penalty that never should have been the ref should be ashamed of himself:eek:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,430 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

I'm sorry but as far as I can remember it was 2-1 after the penalty. Not exactly a winning position

It doesn't really matter how the game ends, the whole game changed based on a bad penalty decision by Howard Webb. That gave United a real belief that they could rescue the tie and we seen a different United since then.

    Again robbery at Old Trafford.

    Good win for Howard Webb.

    Keane has been dogsh1t today.

Reminds me of the magical 5-3 comeback a few years back. That's all I was thinking about when 2-0 down :D

Another goal now would do nicely.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,080 ✭✭✭✭Random

There's no doubt the goal from the penalty gave Utd the confidence that we all knew would net them more.

Let's be honest though .. they've got 3 goals in 13 mins since, they were always gonna come back and throw some pressure at Spurs.

Spurs are crumbling at this point and hate to say it, but I can see Utd getting 1 or 2 more unanswered.

Not sure who to blame here. Yes the ref, but maybe Spurs too for not holding out after ..

Come on that's ridiculous. Spurs have the players to keep United out..Spurs completely switched off and haven't being doing the things that got them 2 goals in the first half..

Lads would you give over with the penalty. The goal was coming either way, the previous few minutes Utd were all over them. Horrible to watch Utd play like this but they're full value for the win.

LOL @ beratov try there :D

I wish Burley would just STFU! You'd swear it was the ref's fault that Spurs let in 4 goals after the penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,147 ✭✭✭ironictoaster

    Good man Berba :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,952 ✭✭✭Morzadec

All the belief and fight just went out of Spurs

No mental strength to fight back from that decision. United overran them and obviously the penalty was a joke but they could've reponded better it looked like they knew it wouldn't be their day after that incident

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,639 ✭✭✭LightningBolt

    Jesus, joke of a goal.
