Sofa fibre sealing

Hi! Quick query - got a sofa recently that cost an arm and a leg so looking to make sure it last at least til the 100th anniversary of my death.... So, have come across this crew called Fiberseal who have some magic chemical that they will apply but here's the deal - €250!! Bit steep??? or is just me because I'm freakin'…
