filling joints in paving slabs

    Anyone know of a simple way to fill the joints between paving slabs. eg. a suitable cement type material in a mastic tube?
    People usually cement the joints using a trowel to prevent weed build up, but it can be messy and there is a tendency to crack.
    Any ideas?

    I would use a dry sand / cement mix and brush between the slabs, the mositure from the ground will harden the cement and because it is dry there will be no messy cement on the slabs

    Try putting a small amount of water in to the joint before you brush in the dry mix. The sand and cement will soak up the water in needs. leaving nice clean joints.

    Sand and cement is good but overtime will more than likely crack. I use a material called rompox. Very easy to use and apply. Wont stain paving and can be used in wet and dry conditions. Its not affected by power washing either and its sets extremely hard. Check it out and see what you think.
