Best sign ever! I laughed heartily at that, always nice to be reminded there are some people in Mary I with a sense of humour!

What's going on with the crime scene investigation outside An Siopa?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,916 ✭✭✭RonMexico

    Yeah it is weird:confused:

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 2,503 Mod ✭✭✭✭dambarude

It forced me to go outside and walk all the way around to get up to the library. Then of course I realised that there is another stairs beside An Siopa that I could have used :o.

I hope it's not cordoned off because of some structural problem- we're only in the place a few months!

A few of us reckon it might have something to do with the "big step, little step" stairs at central in tara,I know a few people who have tripped up that stairs it's very awkward haha !In all seriousness though if it is something to do with that area of the new building it would be a pity it's such a great addition to the college hopefully they can sort it out soon

One of the pieces of wood on the ceilling was hanging off the other day. Could be to do with that!

Bit of good news though: GOODBYE PREFABS :D

I have only been around College a few days this semester but I do find the "big step, little step" stairs a bit peculiar allright.

Thank god I'm not the only one who has noticed those steps. I thought there was something wrong with me the first time I noticed it. :D

That whole cordoned off area is badly designed in my opinion. Rest of the building is class though.

Does anyone know if this "MIC 2010-2016 Masterplan" is available to the public?

As a student, it'd be interesting to see the plans for the campus over the next 5 years.

Poxyshanrock, you asked this question on the 1/12/10 and I replied but the reply I gave was wrong and I don't think it has been corrected but this is what you were looking for I think. Belated thanks to EW for this. :D

In fairness it is a nice tree. Funnily it took me about 2 mins to get the source code from the page and make sure it was working. :p

    Here's to a great 2011 in Mary I!

Hoping that the last semester in the place will be a good one!

On that note... any predictions for RAG (do we really have to call it HOT?) week?

Does the "HOT" stand for something?

I think it was voted in my the RAG (sorry, I mean HOT) week committee.

Sure we're all going to call it RAG week anyway. The new name is just a formality!

Yea there was a poll on the MISU website as well here.
Not sure how much the website poll was taken into account because polls of that nature can be completely manipulated by anyone with only a very basic knowledge of how they made.

    What date are results out?

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 2,503 Mod ✭✭✭✭dambarude

The Friday of week 1 usually... on www.si.ul.ie.

Education module breakdowns are usually on the EdResults folder on the LAN.
