can those low fat fromage frais Tesco sell be used? low fat plain cottage cheese? Along with Philadelphia and Mascapone what are the other main cream cheeses?

Don't know tbh -- I would have thought mascapone / philadephia were the top ones.
I know someone who uses the big block of philadelphia in cheese cakes seems its one of the best

Tesco do their own stuff, 89Cent per 250G iirc, just as good as philly.

I am using plain cream cheese from ALDI. Much cheaper that Philadelphia, otherwise there is no difference.
