Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, so I reinstalled Xp on my MBP after saying I'd never do it again, I miss games.

    Basically the following is happening.

First off, at random times the sound on or offline will slow right down until it sounds electronic or bitty if you catch my drift. This is really annoying.

Secondly, I can connect to the internet (wireless) no hassle for a few minutes and then it gets knocked off and I have to reset the router/modem. (Eircom)

Thirdly, my screen is set to the same resolution that it is in Leopard (1440 X 900, I think) and while in Xp I get a really high pitched noise coming from it. Also quite annoying.

Lastly, when installing a game I am told that binkw32.dll is missing.

Please lovely people, fix my machine.

Did you do a complete reinstall of all software packages too?; or did you just reinstall Windows? If you just reinstalled Windows, then I'm not surprised that you're having problems. With Windows, the best thing to do is install it first, and then everything else. Hell, even upgrading to a new service pack can result in some problems with non-Windows software.

So, wipe the disk, reinstall Windows, install the service packs (up to SP3 now I think), and then install everything else.
