    Hi all


    i have a new prescription for contact lenses and just wondering which is the best online store to buy from is these days.


    my brand of choice is 1 Day Acuvue Moist For Astigmatism.


    I used to buy my contacts from lenstore.co.uk, but I’m now wondering how sites based in the uk fare since Brexit with customs, etc.

    I've had a couple of deliveries from https://www.visiondirect.ie/ (shipped from UK) post Brexit with no issues.

    If you're looking to save money on contacts you might also be looking to save money on an eye exam. In the U.S. (where I am) a person needs a prescription less than a year old in order to buy contacts. An in-person eye exam can be a bit pricey, but now you can get one online cheap - even free at some sites. I won't plug any one particular online site for contacts, just look around. I took the exam online, for free. Only takes a few minutes. You'll need to have a smartphone handy when you take the test (a couple pictures of your eyes are required).

    I did my first order from Alensa last week. I got a notification from Revolut this week that the 'payment had been reverted' as the vendor hadn't completed the order. So it seems I got free lenses. No further contact from Alensa so far.

    So that would definitely make them the cheapest option! Has this happened to anyone else?
