Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone have any luck getting rid of the second "SECURE" partition?

No uninstaller with it, and can't delete the partition.

This tool might work. I have found it to be quite good

    SwissKnife

95% of the time it allows you to either:

    a) delete the partition in Disk Management
    b) uninstall it using a tool (typically provided on the USB drive).

..... oh, and don't call me Shirley!

No luck even with that I'm afraid.. they show up as two seperate drives and can only choose to format either of them! :(

Basquille, any Linux Live CD is your friend. Insert Live CD, boot up, plug in, and format! :)

Here is the utility that came with mine, which was all one unencrypted parition, but seeing as this one is for my keyring it got changed to 512 mb open partition and the rest secure.

Gimme a moment while I find a place to share this from...

Tried GNOME Partition Editor (parted) on Ubuntu.. even that wouldn't do it!

Oh... I never had that issue, I presume its plugged in when you run that utility?

    It was installed on mine.

Sounds like you might have got a dud, let me find my one and I'll do a few tests.

Edit: Yup you must of run that without the stick plugged in as I just tested it now without it

Nah.. I'd say this happened when I was messing about with it on the GNOME Partition Editor.

I formatted it as HFS hoping it wouldn't pop up the partition anymore.. it's not popping up but it is still showing as another partition.

No worries.. I'll live with it!`

That utility can format the whole stick for you.

Yeah, I re-formatted (using Windows) the primary partition on the disk (7.64GB) as FAT32 (which is what it originally was) and formatted the security partition on the disk (2MB) as FAT, which is what it originally was.

But UFDUtility.exe still won't recognise it (gives the same error as indicated above).

There is an icon in the system tray for it but it does nothing!

Found plenty of results in Google dealing with the same problem... but if only I could find one in English! :D
