    Opened up my ancient computer a few hours ago, and saw what I assumed was the Ram, it's 64 MB SDRAM, and 100MHz. Is it worth opening up my newer computer and adding the 64 MB RAM to the 1 GB already there?

    And it also says 8M X 64 SDRAM. What does this mean?

    Nope. In fact, I'd be surprised if you even could.

    Probably that it has 8 chips of 64 megabits (8 megabytes) each.
