Heard Niamh Whelan broke 12 seconds in womens 100m heats.

Fionnula Briton made her comeback appearance in women's 5K which was won by Linda Byrne.

Anyone know if Christopher Russell got disqualified from the men's 200m heats?

Should be some good races tomorrow.

Has Eileen O' Keeffe competed yet on Day 1 or is she due tomorrow? Fingers crossed, she is due to compete but I won't be convined until I see the result.

They are normally posted at http://sindar.net/iuaa/results/ but nothing there yet.

Great to see Eilo back!! 63m ain't too bad although I heard she wasn't too happy with which is also great to hear as she must be in good shape and expecting more. Major relief to have her back!!!!

The wind and weather seemed to have messed things up for times etc but the mens 100 looked like a cracker and fast too even if with a 2.4 wind.

Does anyone have any wind readings for the Womens 200 Final, Mens 200 Final and the Mens 100 Semi as I want to see if they are legal and can be included in the Boards Rankings?

Best event to date. The finals was fantastic pure main event. I didnt do too well I had a bad start with the 100m with 11.77 broke the college record but am not happy with it. I got 24.69 at the 200m, wasn't fit enough.

Yes, even with a 3.10 wind thats pretty good. We had 8 guys at 10 secs at the Nationals last year but iftdoesn't happen that often in Ireland.

Many of these guys are young and if they continue to push on and maybe get down to the 10.4's and 10.5's we will be getting a decent 4 x 100 relay together to add to Hesh.

You are so right about that, but the question is who will give up and stop. I made the same mistake giving it up for a while and now am back. I have to play a catch up game training and working, don,t even forget College works.

Fionnula Briton ran the road relays !!!!

He was meant to be disqualified from the 200m for crossing the lane but I don't know what happen. It probably got sorted.

By running the qualification for your event. The 100m is 10.98 but your 10.76 was windy so isn't allowed. 10.76 with 3.4m/s though will easily translate to sub 10.98 as I'm sure you know. When you get your time then you'll get measured vs the benchmark (the average 10th ranking in the world over past 2 seasons) and get a score. Chris Russell has run a legal 10.78 which is a 92.04. Andrew Graham's 10.96 from the semis is also in.
