Hi, I posted this somewhere else, and I'd like to post it here too.

OK, I think I know where I am.

    I'm a Dead Centrist.

I believe in taking the middle road, looking at both sides and cherry-picking an ad-hoc best solution. And examining it every time something changes. Every time.

I believe in working towards the ideal of every person upon this planet being able to do whatever they want as long as they are not stopping someone else from doing what they want.

I believe in fair trade. Not in the current "fair trade" sense (worthy a cause as it is), I think that people being badly done by in a deal should have alternatives.

I believe the end user of a product should be regarded as God by all who are involved in providing it, from the lowly unionised Worker to the high and mighty CEO. Any grouping involved with the terms and conditions of work should *grovel* to customers.

I don't believe in socialist systems or centralisation of power, because that needs trust of the person in charge to work, and you will never get that.

I think the most important question anyone who makes an important decision should ask is "whose opinion am I disregarding, and why?"

I believe the most dangerous enemies of any cause are the most fanatical supporters of it.

I do NOT believe that sectoring people into political groups is a good idea. It is one of those things which creates an "us" and "them".

I do not believe in an "us" and "them".

I do not believe in ignoring anyone, no matter what I think of them.

I do not believe in attacking a person because of his politics.

I do not believe in calling someone names because of their politics.

I do not believe in questioning a person's sanity because of his politics.

I do not believe in generalisations.

    I believe in research.

    I believe in numbers.

I believe in the difference between fact and opinion.

I believe in the clear demarcation of fact and opinion.

I believe that knowing the limits of what I know as certain and what I beleive to be 100% certain are two different things, and I must always respect that.

I believe I can be wrong.

I believe everyone can be wrong.

I believe I can be right.

I believe everyone is right on some things, wrong on others.

I do not believe in looking out for myself alone.

I believe in looking out for the best win-win.

I believe I must forgive those who do not tell the truth, but be prepared for the consequences of their untruth.

I believe that extremism from all sides would tear my country apart if it was allowed to.

I do not believe in "could have, should have, would have".

I believe in "can, should, will"

I believe in a set punishment for a set action, and no recriminations after the punishment.

I believe that patience is a lost art that must be rekindled for the sake of humanity.

    Well, that's me.
