Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Referee is giving Ronaldo nothing tonight.

Giggs and Berbs coming on, Anderson and Tevz off.
    Big changes.

The stroller making his way on.

I knew Giggs would make his way on sooner or later. Good choice in taking Anderson off.

Tevez off..... Work effort>>>>>No work effort.

Lol can't wait to hear what Dunphy has to say about Ronaldo's ickle temper tantrum :D

Why the heck does Berbatov have to come on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,155 ✭✭✭juvenal

That half-chance for Adebayor is exactly the sort of effort that could snatch a goal for Arsenal.

Utd have had the majority of possession and lead virtually every stat, and yet they only lead 1-0. They should be pushing for a second at this stage of the game.

More posturing and dramatic arm-waving from Ronaldo.

Giggs and Beratov on for Tevez and Anderson.

What are the odds that Adebayor leaves in the Summer?

What are the odds of Adebayor leaving in the summer to go to Newcastle regardless of division? :)

The noise of that crossbar. Sounded like the crack of the whip from an S&M mistress.

What are the odds that Adebayor leaves in the Summer?
I don't see him staying, no cups, no players, no money-whats does Arsenal have to offer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

That's the fastest I've seen Berbatov run in a Man United jersey.

No surprise that Walcott is going off. He's had a bad game.

    Giggity-giggity-giggity! :pac:

Berbatov nearly ran himself into the ground there!

    Decent effort from Carrick.

    Carrick coming closer!

    This is a great match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,155 ✭✭✭juvenal

Smart efforts from both Ronaldo and Carrick.

Ronaldo is looking a little more effective on the left wing now.

Wow, this match is unreal! Compare this to Chelsea vs Barcelona last night-difference is CLEAR!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    Arsenal are so lucky here.

1-0 is not too bad from an Arsenal point of view considering the way the game has gone.

    Bit of an exaggeration.

It's decent in comparison to last night, but that's not saying much.

You know you're lucky when Silvestre clears successfully.

    FFS

Utd have had so many chances, I really hope they don't regret this, they need to get another one, they can put this tie to bed here tonight, but 1-0 is very tight.

Come on guys, one more goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,155 ✭✭✭juvenal

That's quality by Giggs, I thought he'd definitely shoot.

Can see a Utd second before full-time. Arsenal will be relatively happy with a 1-0 defeat though if they can hold out.

Walcott, Nasri (there are other DM options on the bench) Edurado, Bendtner.

Arsenal don't need to be free flowing attacking football now, they just need to be able to keep the ball, have some balance and solidity.

Maybe if you gave some insite into why a extra striker would improve arsenal it might make more sence. Walcott and Nasri and wingers

Does anyone see arsenal sneaking a late late goal here?

The game is heading that way

He's been okay tonight to be fair. Not his biggest fan but he's done okay.

Nah, 1-0 should be enough. United will surely score at the Emirates. I can't see Arsenal winning by two.

    Giggs just got robbed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,155 ✭✭✭juvenal

Giggs almost scores on his 800th appearance.

Offside, although a fine ball by Rooney.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,068 ✭✭✭yermandan

    Just offside

Bring on Eduardo and stick up front with Adebayor and maybe there'll be a goal in it for them.

Close from Giggs there. Might have been just off then.
