Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bring on Eduardo and stick up front with Adebayor and maybe there'll be a goal in it for them.

Close from Giggs there. Might have been just off then.

    Here he comes :)

    Evans is ready to go.
At least Rio is walking off.

What a chance for Arsenal. Bendtner, the one player you don't want in that position at that time. I don't see what Wenger sees in him unless they're sleeping together and he feels obliged to play him.

What's Berbatov doing back there? It must've taken him ten minutes to stroll back from Arsenal's box.

    FT: 1-0

I hope we don't regret not taking those chances.

    Full-time: Manchester United 1 Arsenal 0.

Ironically both sides will be happy enough with the result, as United didn't concede an away goal and take a lead to London, and Arsenal could've been in a deeper hole if it wasn't for Almunia in the first half.

United may feel like they had enough chances and possession to get a second goal though, and they may regret their wastefulness.

While it was a better game that last night's snorefest, it didn't live up to the pre-game hype, with both sides playing cagey in the second half.

Nicely set up for the second leg next Tuesday in the Emirates though.:)

Utd played some good football, arse were never really in it, UTD didn't take their chances, they created a lot of chances and looked impressive, they needed the 2nd goal, the tie is still open, will be interesting.

    Alumina MOM.

Wenger should be happy at 1-0 they way they played.

Arsenal got away lightly there. United deserved much more form that game. Evra had a superb game, and JOS played very well too. Arsenal did look better towards the end. Ferdinand and Vidic both played very well. Toure had a very good second half.

Tevez shouldn't have been taken off imo, Ronaldo did nothing in the second half other than the shot.
