Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It it only me who is experiencing (playable) lags in majority of GOW2 MM games? I have an UPC 3Mb connection but I think this is not the cause. I am forced to run with a chainsaw like an idiot instead of a shotgun...

I've heard many ppl are going back to the original GOW because of that...

Epic attempted to fix many of the connection issues with TU3 (Title Update 3), but alas, many still remain. I can safely say I've experienced less lag than I did before TU3 but there's still alot of issues that need to be addressed. Standbying and lagswitching are still rampant, host advantage is ridiculous and I'm disconnected from games from time to time.

Best solution you can hope for at the moment is play private games with people on your friend's list, they're lagfree for the most part.

You have to and I stress have to have 5 irish players in a party with a host who has a 7mb or higher to have an enjoyable game of GOW2.
Mainly because you end up being matched with yanks and connecting that far across seas is S**T

I play GoW2 alot with my 7 mb connection and I find it really hit or miss. Either I have a perfect game with no lag whatever or I have a game with so much lag I drop dead randomly. Its a bit of a joke.
Anyone up for a few private matches?

Yeah, exactly guys. In this case, if I would upgrade to 10Mb connection, there's still no guarantee that I will have lag free matches. At the moment, when I am the host, I have like 30-40 kills/match and end up with no points (due to the host advantage)

I'm up for private matches, definitely! What's your GT CORaven? Anyone else?

Ive found that the longer you have to wait for a match, the odds are its going to be a nightmare. Only give the matchmaking a few mins before canceling and it should be worth your time.
My GT is CORaven. Unfortunately my headset is broken and I dont have my spare with me :(
