    could someone tell me what are the legalities to having a rifle rebarrelled here in Ireland.Ive been told its not even possible for a dealer to have a blank barrel or a custom action imported into ireland.If this is true how would I go about having my Sako 6.5x55 rebarrelled.Im just a newby,take it easy on me.:confused:

    Hi There

    Any registered firearms dealer can legitimately repair a firearm, replacing a barrel is a repair, is it not, so no difficulty there, there are may dealers who can do the Job one guy called Fabian Connolly provides this service, I do not have contact details though.
