Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Building against an existing extension/party wall..?

My neighbour has single story extension which he has built up to the party wall line. I have planning to complete a similar extension however my builder says I cannot build up to the party wall line and I have to have a gap of at least 50mm bewteen my wall and the neighbours wall?? Can anybody advise if this is correct? If not what am I allowed to do? Building control tell me as long as my wall meets insulation requirements I can 'but up' to the existing wall but I am not sure what this means in practical terms? Any advice appreciated.

Do you get on with your neighbour ? An agreement to share the wall is almost always the best bet
