    Munster (I'm a Leinster supporter)
Hey Jackass, I see you're online.

Want to lay your pride in Leinster Rugby on the line again?

If Munster win you must quote:

"I admit, Munster are the greatest side in Ireland and Leinster are a bunch of ladyboys incapable of standing up to the Mighty Red Army"

If Leinster win I promise to quote:

"I admit, Leinster are the greatest side in Ireland. They showed Munster who the real ladyboys are. I am going to go cry now."

So Jackass what do you say? Are you brave enough??

Hahaha!! Ok - I'm a glutten for punishment - BUT you can print what I have to say if Munster win (as above) - but IF (and it's a long shot) Leinster win - you have to quote -

"I admit, Leinster are the greatest side in Ireland and Europe - they toyed with us this season and then buried us when it matters - I wont cry cause we're all just bandwagon fans anyway - so it's off to Leinster next season - COME ON LEINSTER!!!"

haha - oh god I'm gonna regret this bet :D you have a deal my turnip eating friend! :p

    20: Keogh/ Prendagast- Prendagast
    21: Sexton/ Murphy- Murphy
    22: Dempsey/ Hurley- Dempsey

thats my choice. 17 outta 22 to munster and 5 to leinster

Your opinion and fair enough dude, but really?? Some of those calls are a bit extreme - Quinlan the ageing rock star over Rocky, arguably the greatest 6 on the planet right now.

But anyway - in my opinion -

    15: Nacewa/ Warrick- Warrick
    14: Horgan/ Howlett- Howlett
    13: O'Driscoll/ Earls- O'Driscoll
    12: D'Arcy/ Mafi- Mafi
    11: Fitzgerald/ Dowling- Fitzgerald
    10: Contepomi/ O'Gara- O'Gara
    9: Whitaker/ Stringer- Stringer

    1: Healy/ Horan- Healy
    2: Jackman/ Flannery- Flannery
    3: Wright/ Hayes- Wright
    4: Cullen/ O'Connell- O'Connell
    5: O'Kelly/ O'Callaghan- O'Callaghan
    6: Elsom/ Quinlen- Elsom
    7: Jennings/ Wallace- Wallace
    8: Heaslip/ Leamy- Heaslip

    REPLACEMENTS:

    16: J Fogarty/ D Fogerty- Draw
17: McCormack/ Buckley- Draw (neither do much)
    18: Toner/ O'Driscoll- O'Driscoll
    19: O'Brien/ Ronan- O'Brien
    20: Keogh/ Prendagast- Keogh
    21: Sexton/ Murphy- Sexton*
    22: Dempsey/ Hurley- Dempsey

*(have you seen him off the bench?? has changed about 5 or 6 games for Leinster this season - possibly the best impact sub I've ever seen for us)

These lists are usually meaningless anyway - but for the record, by my reckoning it's 9 - 6 to Munster on the field, no surprises there - but CRUCIALLY (and this is where my slight optomisim comes from) it's 4 -1 to Leinster on the bench with 2 draws. Leinster have a lot more impact to bring on than Munster do - and if Leinster are still in the game by 65 minutes or so, we've got more of the options for looking for the breakthrough from fresh legs.

I'll tell you what, you'll know after 20/30 minutes if Leinster are in with a chance of winning this game. The requirements are:
    1/ Leinster are winning
2/ Contepomi has kicked all his kicks
3/ Munster had a crack at the Leinster line but Leinster turned it over / defend like an animal
4/ Leinster have kept possesion for periods and have scored from pressure.

If Contepomi misses his first kick we have lost. FACT. If we give away a single cheap score we have lost. FACT. If we have extended periods of pressure and possesion and don't score we have lost. FACT.

Leinsters' challenge today is more difficult then trying to access the buddist monks temple at the summit of the andes mountains via wheelchair. Technically it can be done, but know one can see it being done. We need a miracle - by the grace of god - please let us have a miracle!!

Um, actually I'm a Leinster supporter. Who's embarrassed now?
    Goose81 wrote: »
First you claim Leinster are worse in every position except 3

    When did I claim that?
    Goose81 wrote: »
you then claim Nacewa at 15 will be the final nail in Leinster coffin, for some unknown reason because he is actually a 15.

Yes because we all know that experimenting and playing players out of position the entire season before finally playing them in position for the most important match of the season is a great way to build a structured, focused team... not to mention the confidence of individual players.

I'm open to the possibility of Nacewa putting in a good performance at fullback and I really hope he does. I know what he's capable of and I appreciate he is a good player. Just not this season for Leinster. I also appreciate Kearney is the first choice 15 and he's out. This is, at least, a very bold strategic move by Cheika. I just hope it pays off. Let's wait and see.
    Goose81 wrote: »
You have yet to actually explain this, despite the fact he has played well most of the season but you claim otherwise.

No. No he didn't play well all season. The start of his season basically comprised of aimless, tactless kicking and when he did run the ball it was largely devoid of any impact. I wouldn't suggest that he's been completely useless, he's scored match winning tries from very early in the season. I just expected him to gel with the team, be less opportunist and maybe a little less hasty with the boot.
    Goose81 wrote: »
You could take a huge lesson from Thomond 06 and myself ,who will both happily admit we were wrong, you however are just stubborn in being wrong.

    I'm think I'm right.
    Goose81 wrote: »
You really dont have a clue.

Do you fancy qualifying that with any substantial debate? At least I'm arguing my case based on what I've been watching on the pitch. You just seem to be telling me I'm wrong and that's it. Why has Nacewa had such a good season in your opinion?

I can't see past a Munster win based on current form. Leinster will really have to pull something special out of the bag to be in with a chance of winning. The forwards need to do what they've been doing this season at least and the backline will need to be firing on all cylinders. Contepomi is going to need to play out of his skin and maintain his nerve.

Realistically... I'm going to say Munster by 12. Munster are beatable... but they've rarely been stronger.

Anyway, I'm off for a pint before I head to Croker.

    COME ON LEINSTER!!!!
