Smart Telecom updated broadband packages and €24 for 24Mb broadband plus rental & VAT

    At last Smart Telecom have re-designed and updated their web site and there are some changes to their broadband packages: http://www.smarttelecom.ie/home_broadband.aspx

    The most interesting one is their new offer for business. It's €24 for 24Mb broadband. But before you get too excited it still has the usual Smart craptastic upload speed of 512K (crazy or what.) You still get a free modem and 1890 technical support, not sure about the free connection. I'm sure existing customers could upgrade or change plan without charge. The 24Mb offer is plus line rental and VAT, so works out at about €55 per month inclusive: http://www.smarttelecom.ie/business_broadband/more_details/Broadband_24_for_24.aspx

    and until a few hours ago it included 1mb upload, looks like they decided it was too generous after our discussions over on the other thread.

    OK thanks I didn't see that thread. I don't think they changed the upload speed. They've another package with 24Mb/1Mb thats over €70. Who's gonna pay that when they can get it for €55?
