Clock is CET, 1 hour ahead.

The game is immediate (well takes about 3 mins)

Form is very important. High form players will play to a higher skill level. Low form players will play to a lower skill level.

Also at the end of the season a players average form is a key part of the change report which can lead to an increase in skill level.

Like Father Like Son

Flushdraw FC got their pre-season off to a flier with a comfortable 2-1 over Poker Her. The result flattered Poke Her as they were pummeled from the 1st to the last minute. It should have been 4-0 by half time but some guilt edge chances were spurned by Branca and Biacone. A late consolation goal 2 minutes from time by McAtter took some gloss off a fine performance.

The star of the show was Ernesto Altobelli, the son of Italian legend Alessandro Altobelli. Ernesto was making his debut following a summer switch from Milan, and he's shown why Flushdraw manager moved mountains to try and secure the superstar during the off peak season. One goal, a splendid performance and ability beyond his years has made him an immediate hit with the Flushdraw FC fans.

Speaking to the press Baitson commented "It was a struggle trying to secure his signature. Milan offered him a lucrative deal, and a last minute offer from Harchester United tried to scupper the deal but our club are going places, and we wanted Altobelli to spearhead us. He's only 20 and has already been capped by Italy so to have a young player with so much potential join is, is huge for the club."

Another summer signing, Luca Morelli also making his debut, showed some fine touches on the ball and will also be an immediate hit with the Flushdraw FC fans. Not only has he got the skills, but he also brings with him his girlfirend and agent Monica Bellechi who is a top porn star back in Italy. Morelli says "Monica has moved to Ballymun with me. She's used to living it up in Milan but once the offer came in for me, she urged me to go as she'd always wanted to move to Ballymun". We managed to catch up with Monica back in the hotel...ahem. She didnt have much to say apart from "Ohhhhh ahhhhh Yes get in there....oh baby" She was watching her mans assist for Altobelli's goal. We asked her about her switch to Ballymun. "At first Mr Baitson wasnt too keen on signing Luca, but after a couple of meetings we convinced him that Flushdraw FC was the place for Luca to play. I spent many evenings in the hotel room bending over backwards trying to secure the deal. It was worth it in the end".

Seems like its just one big happy family at Flushdraw FC and i'm expecting big things from them this season. Baitson was no longer available for comment as rumour has it he has secured himself a supporting role in some movie called Shaving Ryans Privates? Never heard of it, but now doubt it will a Hollywood blockbuster.

Speaking of cheating, there is an option for 'dirty tricks' in the game. Stuff that you can do to opposing teams that may cause them to lose form (release mice into the dressing room is one). But I have turned it off for now.

Also from time to time the game will generate random events that may give you money, cost you money, increase a players form or decrease a players form. I have no control over these.

Yeah i saw that option in the team tactics. I also have 2/3 cheating bstards in my team..nice!

The one in the team tactics is just cheating on the field.

The dirty tricks thing is off the field stuff that you can do to any team to try and affect their form. From experience it causes too much agro though, so I've left it turned off

FFS, my team is bad enough without this BS happening,

Claudio Fontana made some harsh comments about the players of Modulator United in the local paper yesterday. They became the talk of the town, and because of this, some of the players have lost a substantial amount of form.

At least I'm starting in the Premier league...

Save me the hassle of getting promoted, although I think my team is much worse than your Kev...

Damo, are you still interested in playing this? The game shows you as having not logged in since the league was set up. I can let one of the lads waiting in the queue in if you dont want to play

You'll get offered Youth players every now and again in your mailbox... you can specify what positions you'd like in the "Team Settings" but the quality of the youngsters is random, you could get a Wayne Rooney, or you could get a guy that can barely kick snow off a rope.

Ah balls I saw this last week but presumed you wouldn't be setting it up for a few weeks! Going by this anyway....

If we get the numbers (6 minimum) i'll start the league in a couple of weeks.

Surely you can create another league with the extra people looking to sign up??

If not add me in next season... would prefer starting on a level pegging but if you feel the need to handicap me so be it

Username is Roryc69, as you can probably tell from the other league...

There's 3 divisions in it already Rory. I can add another one at the end of the current season if needs be.

Good start to the season. 2-0 win at home. 65% possession both halves. Troy Mutants didn't have a single shot on target.
