Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was in Punchestown today to see Master Minded, National Hunts official "best" horse in training, and Ruby Walsh win the big race.

    Hi Ballyman,
I'm there for a few days, are you one of the 10 or so pro photographers I've seen wandering about? I saw two yesterday hefting those 20Kg 500mm 2.8s about.
I take it thats a shot from the last fence, have you a pass to cross the track ?

Most of what I've got is on film taken with a camera that arrived in the post yesterday morning. Also got a few of the high heeled Phillys yesterday afternoon when the sun was out, Alas, today many of them were not warm enough to smile. I got chatting to one or two or their mothers, these girls are in as much competition with each other as the horses, they go to several race meetings just to enter the best dressed competition.

I have a pass for access to the track and parade ring. I won't be there till late this evening though as my employer expects me to go to work today!!! :) They can be very unfair at times! So if you notice a new lad arriving onto the track after the first few races then that will be me!!

That was the last fence. There is public access to that fence as well from the stand side of the course so you can get good in close stuff from there.

Friday will be your day to see high heeled phillys. Hail, rain or shine, thousands of them will be there dolled up to the nines as it's ladies day.

Looks like 2:7 to me (7 Canon I can spot and only 2 Nikon).

    Great picts.
