Anyone using NWE broadband via router?

I'm trying to get this setup, tonight if possible, but I will ring them tomorrow if I don't get anywhere. I have the correct ip settings. I need to know which connection type to use: Dynamic/Fixed IP (1483 Bridge) or Static IP (IPoA) and within these do I change VPI/VCI to 8/38 and Encapsulation to LLC? Hope you can help,…

EDIT -

It's a wireless service with an Ethernet connection to the receiver on the roof. It's the WAN I'm trying to set up.

i've just got a static ip set up using and it just asks me for the ip subnet mask and gateway. connect up and off you go you shouldnt need vpi vci on an ethernet connection, what router are you using ( i have a draytek 2950 running a second eircom dsl connection for backup)
actually sounds like your router might not have an ethernet wan connection ?

It has an Internet WAN configuration section, so I presumed, perhaps wrongly, it can be configured for NWE.

Looks like I have the wrong router type. PC World won't exchange it either. £105 down the drain.
