Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He just needs the R1C1 stuck on the front to work it Miami style ...

Actually thinking back, in the show they definitely have the dual flashes mounted onto the front, but they don't have su800 controller mounted, do they ? Probably not aesthetic enough for them. Or maybe it'd bang into the graduated tobacco filter they use for EVERY SINGLE OUTDOOR SHOT

its just wrong to see the gardai using Nikon !!! (amateurs huh !!)

Only kidding .... Nikon are professional too ;);) and top level and cheaper than canon.

But I'm sticking with my canon.

EDIT: Please tell me you sent that image out to papers.

Last year we had a talk at DCC from one of the Forensic Photographers. It was really interesting, even though not many of their photo's can be shown.

They use a lot of D200's but now they are not available have moved to the D300. They prefer the D200 as it has less options that they don't use compared to the D300.

Actually, 95% of people working in the forensics labs have nothing to do with the Gardaí. They're generally all scientists or lab techs of one form or another. Not sure if its gardaí or not who'd be doing forensic photography, but i'd doubt it...

You would never make a CSI. It's clearly a D200, it's on the strap.

There was a serving Garda on my course last year who was doing the course to get the C&G cert with a view to going into this type of photography within the job. He is Traffic & mainly deals with fatalities.

I would have thought the photogs would be civilians not serving members.

Maybe it is different for crime scenes and a civvie does these?
